RE/MAX Medalta Meadows April 9. Very long grass so you really need to talk a walk there and enjoy the flowers.

Test site near Humpty’s May 9 several buds
Near Adapt Mobility – a test test from a couple years ago has a row of daffodil flowers like soldier on parade, May 9.
4 May 2019 and it is snowing.

RE/MAX Medalta Meadow – first flower about to open. This grass is so long in this area you have to go close to see the plants.
At the Teepee more are coming up but only just pushing through the ground. This area must be much colder than other sites.
25 April, 2019 daffodils at Len Miztel Meadow are the first to flower this season.
25 April – REMAX Medalta Meadows (at the College) There is at least one bud showing.

The first daffodils shoots observed today at Len Mitzel Meadows in the new planting area closer to the Trans-Canada Highway.
Planting sites are now boasting more daffodil blooms and others are still to flower

- Although some of the blooms can be seen from the highway others are closer to the noise berm and it is ideal if you can go for a walk there.
- Humpty’s test site
- These are in a lower area and not easily seen from the highway. Go and take a walk there.
- The Adapt site
The first flower of the season could be seen at RE/MAX Medalta Meadows (formerly known as the College site) on Sunday April 29.
In fact the second bloom was emerging at the Humpty’s test site on Sunday April 29 with a bud almost open.
April 18 the first daffodils were seen emerging at the College and Humpty’s sites.
Friday April 20 a couple were emerging at the Adapt Mobility site and April 25 at the Shepherd site.

Last year it was the third week in March that we saw the first plant up and the year before that it was February 29. So each year is different and we did have a long cold winter.
